I know some people like to clown on dazai for laughing a lil TOO hard at chuuya’s rich girl impression and that he was just tryna hit but i digress. Do you not realise the power of an inside joke? If me and my best friend didn’t see each other for 4 years only to meet up again and randomly she just references one of our inside jokes i would be guffawing like dazai. According to my friend, in the Ukrainian dub, it got changed to "evolution did not have pity on you" LMAO
